Free Webinar: Understanding Domestic Abuse and Coercive Control

What would you do if a friend, colleague or employee confided in you about domestic abuse or coercive control?

As part of our commitment to ending violence against women and girls, Our Safer City is hosting a free online workshop in collaboration with Solace Women’s Aid, one of the UK’s most established organisations supporting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse for over 50 years.

Understanding Domestic Abuse and Coercive Control

  • Date: Monday 23 June
  • Time: 1:00pm–2:00pm
  • Location: Online (Free registration)

This one-hour session will help participants understand the dynamics of domestic abuse and coercive control, and learn how to safely respond to disclosures and guide individuals to appropriate support services. Whether you’re an employer, a team member, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, this training provides vital knowledge and tools.

Solace brings extensive frontline expertise and will share practical guidance on how early recognition and informed action can make a real impact.

This event is open to anyone who lives, works, or socialises in the City of London.
