Our Safer City Progress Report March 2026

Our Safer City’s latest progress report shows the growing impact of partnership-led work to prevent violence against women and girls and domestic abuse across the City and beyond.

Over the past few months, the initiative has continued to expand its reach through business engagement, training, awareness campaigns and practical support services. Highlights include 1,818 business engagements, 57 Safe Havens in the City of London, 220 Safe Havens across Greater London, and 1,251 people trained in WAVE and Ask for Angela.

The report also reflects the strength of collaboration behind the programme. Recent events have brought together employers, partners and people with lived experience to explore how workplaces and organisations can play a role in prevention and support. Alongside this, a festive campaign delivered more than 5.5 million estimated impressions, helping to raise awareness of the support available across the City.

Looking ahead, Our Safer City will continue to grow its network, promote its pledge and survey, and expand Safe Havens so help is never far away. The report is a clear reminder that safer cities are built through shared responsibility, practical action and consistent partnership.
