Our Safer City initiative recently conducted a survey to understand how women feel about their safety in the City of London. With over 500 participants, the responses provided valuable insights into the key areas of concern.
The survey revealed that young people are particularly vulnerable, and many feel less safe during the night, especially in areas linked to the night-time economy. Darkness continues to be a major contributor to fear, with a heightened perception of risk after dark.
These findings will shape our ongoing efforts to create a safer environment for everyone.
