Our Safer City is supporting the Safe Haven scheme, which encourages local venues to offer a safe, welcoming space for anyone who feels unsafe or in need of support.
Safe Havens provide people with somewhere to go for reassurance, help, or simply a place to wait until they feel able to move on. Cafés, shops, bars and other public-facing venues can all play a role in creating a safer City.
