We are working with the City of London Police and the City Security Council to create a safe and secure environment for residents, workers, and visitors in the Square Mile. High-visibility reassurance initiatives connect private security professionals and police to maintain public safety, foster trust, and provide real-time responses to potential incidents.
Hi-Vis Days
City Security Council and City of London Police host Hi-Vis Days to promote public safety awareness and community engagement. Officers and security professionals wearing high-visibility jackets connect with the public at pop-up centres throughout the City, offering advice and reassurance. These events emphasise that the Square Mile is safe for everyone to visit, live, or work.
Operation Reframe
City of London Police Operation Reframe brings together key partners to ensure a safer night-time economy, with a particular focus on addressing violence against women and girls. This collaboration includes the City of London Corporation, City Business Improvement Districts (BIDs). London Fire Brigade, SIA, Street Pastors, Specials, Network Rail, Samaritans, and BTP, who work together to create safer spaces and respond to incidents effectively.
